Example - The Regional Plan

The Regional Plan is a major piece of work being carried out by the Assembly. It will set out a vision for the region through to 2026, focusing on improvements that we need to make to ensure the region remains economically successful and an attractive place to live.

It will address important issues such as housing, transport, economy and the environment. The first draft of the plan has now been completed and the Assembly is in the process of asking residents of the region what they think of the key issues.

The finished Plan will be submitted for Government approval in October 2008. Once it has Government approval it will become a legal document that local authorities and other government agencies in the region will have to follow. District and Unitary Councils will still deal with local planning applications, but they will have to ensure their decisions do not conflict with the principles in the Plan.

Please note, discussion points will be moderated.

NB: For the purposes of the demo, this consultation has a particular configuration - we've chosen to publish the Summary Results during the consultation, and not to expose a list of the names of those who have responded. The Detailed Results view, however, has been set to be visible only to managers. This, and many many other settings are configurable - contact iNovem to find out how to run your own demo consultation to see the full range of options.

Please read the consultation document then join the debate to let us and your peers know what you think.

Once ready respond to our online questionnaire.

Please participate. Together we can make a difference.
